• Q. Can I shoot the Leinster Inter Club League as an Individual?

A. No, you need to be a member of a participating club / team

• Q. What do I need to take part?

1. Valid insurance & firearm licence for the firearm in your possession.

• Q.  How many shoots / scores do I need to be part of the leaderbaord ?

1. Over the nine league shoots, you’re best seven scores count.

• Q. It’s my first time to shoot the league, what class will I be in ?

1. First time participants will be classed after three scores have been submitted

• Q. Do I need to book onto a squad in advance of the weekly shoot?

1. Squads are on a “first come” basis on Saturdays, and club allocated times on Sunday. Each week the Sunday club squad times will be published on our website & Facebook page.

• Q. what shot size / load can be used?

1. 28g load is the maximum shot load permitted.

• Q. Are “semi auto” shotguns permitted?

1. Yes, however two shells are the maximum allowed in the gun, the semi auto should also be flagged when not in use / walking between shooting stands etc. We would also ask the users of semi auto’s to pick up their spent shells before leaving the shooting stand.

• Q. Do I need to sign my scorecard after the shoot?

1. Yes, on completion of the last stand by the last shooter on your squad you should check your total score and sign the scorecard.

• Q. How do I query a published score if I think it’s incorrect?

1. Firstly you should contact your club rep who will then contact the league Stats officer on email to seek clarification.  The league stats officer will contact the relevant grounds and get a copy / clarification of the queried score. It is also useful if you take a picture of your scorecard when signing it on the day of the shoot. Scorecards will only be amended if the individual stand scores are added up incorrectly.
